Destination weddings have become increasingly popular in recent years. What better place to tie the knot than on the idyllic island of Milos, Greece? Milos is known for its stunning beaches, picturesque villages, and romantic sunsets. It’s a dream location for a three-day wedding celebration. If you’re planning a wedding, here’s a sample wedding itinerary for Milos to help you make the most of your special occasion.

Day 1

Beach Hopping and Welcome Dinner Start your wedding festivities with an adventurous day of exploring Milos on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). Rent ATVs and head to the famous Sarakiniko Beach, known for its unique lunar-like landscape of white volcanic rock formations. Take a dip in the turquoise waters and enjoy the stunning views.

Next, make your way to Firopotamos Beach, a quaint fishing village with crystal-clear waters and colorful fishing boats. Relax on the beach, go for a swim, and take in the serene surroundings. It’s a perfect spot for a pre-wedding photoshoot with your bridal party.

As the sun sets, head back to your accommodation to freshen up for a welcome dinner in one of Milos’ famous fishing villages. I’ve never seen it done before, but as long as we’re dreaming, Mandrakia would be the most gorgeous setting to host your welcome party.

Day 2

Boat Day and Beach Exploration Get ready for a day of adventure on the seas surrounding Milos. Charter a boat or join a boat tour to explore the island’s stunning beaches, including Kleftiko, known for its impressive white rock formations and turquoise waters. Swim, snorkel, and soak up the sun as you cruise along the coastline, taking in the breathtaking scenery.

You can also visit other beautiful beaches like Tsigrado, Firiplaka, and Gerontas, each with its own unique charm. After your boat tour, spend some time relaxing on the deck, soaking in the Mediterranean sun, and enjoying the company of your wedding party. You can also arrange for a private yacht charter to make your day even more special.

In the evening, head back to your accommodation to relax and prepare for the upcoming wedding day. You can also choose to host a rehearsal dinner or a pre-wedding cocktail party at your hotel or local restaurant.

Day 3

Wedding Day The big day has arrived! And you’ll probably want to choose a stunning location for your wedding ceremony. Check out the Moon Rock Beach, known for its dramatic cliffs and panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. Exchange vows against the breathtaking backdrop of the turquoise waters, and create unforgettable memories with your loved ones.

After the ceremony, head to your chosen venue for the wedding reception.
