Paris is known as the City of Love for a reason. From the charming streets to the stunning architecture and the delicious cuisine, make it an ideal destination for couples.
We only had a couple days in the city so only a few personal favorites to recommend, but a long list of recommendations for what to do in Paris from our expert, Brynn!
My favorites
La Croissanterie
The BEST chocolate croissant we ate on our entire trip. It must have come straight out of the oven, warm, so soft, unlike any other croissant we had on our trip. We were so sad they were closed on the way to the airport when we tried to get one last bite!
Pink Mamma
Reservations here are recommended 2 weeks in advance, if you don’t have reservations, try to be in line right when the restaurant opens. We were so LUCKY to even get in and only waited 20 minutes. The truffle pasta is one of their most popular dishes, it was way to strong for us, but if you like truffle you will love it! We also got the creme brule and it was giant, could have fed a family of 6, and not a ton of flavor.
For the Must Haves: Cheesy Girl Pizza, and the Fried Cheese Balls were our absolute MUST orders here.
If you’re looking for cute photos, go during the day and visit the terrace floor.
Cafe Bagette
Convinced they have the best breakfast in Paris. I’m sure you can not go wrong with ordering anything from their menu, but you’ve got to order the Savory Pancakes and the scrambled egg croissant sandwich.
Cafe De Flor
Known for its Hot Chocolate, lived up to it’s reputation.
Maria’s
Spinach Ravioli- Was, chef’s Kiss.
Maison Sauvage
A well known restaurant, the vibes were incredible here! Food was really good, we just weren’t obsessed. We did like our Burger and fries, but the vibes and our waiters were so worth it so I’d highly recommend it for that!
Hyatt Regency– Green Island Drink and a gorgeous view of the Eiffel tower. The yummiest Basil coconut drink.
Versaille
Recommendations say to visit at opening time and go straight to the hall of mirrors to get photos with no one in them. Top of the Arch at Sunset (lots of recommendations to do the top of the arch instead of the top of the Eiffel tower, Eiffel of course its a must see when it sparkles at night! It sparkles from dusk till 11:45 on the hour every hour for 5 minutes. And of course, The Lourve which has the Mona Lisa.
Neighborhoods to walk: Latin Quater, Montmartre
Our Airbnb was so cute! The location was also so perfect, close to everything and next to bunch of great restaurants and shops. Warning: The host of the airbnb is a Rental Agency and they were kind of a pain to work with. There is a $1,000 deposit that you pay outside of Airbnb and if you break any of their rules including being too loud, you lose the deposit.
